´¯`*♥*´¯`Yoda Man´¯`*♥*´¯`

I think my mom has gone nuts, lol. She had decided she wanted a Yorkie puppy after seeing one a friend had. Now mind you, this is my mom, the one who always said I don't want no durn dog. LOL, she says that everytime she comes to my house and sees my spoiled rotten furbabies. Of course my furbabies are huge compared to the one she decided to get. After we searched the internet looking for Yorkies to adopt and calling around to anyone we could find that had Yorkies, I remember'd once when I went to the local hospital, one of the ladies who does the pre-registration, had Yorkies for sale. So the next time I had to go to the doctor I stopped in to see BJ. I ask if she still had Yorkies and that my mom was interested in maybe getting one. Well she really did not have any for sale at this time, but she talked about the ones she had and she said she did have one that she would be willing to sell. She told me all about Yoda Man and he sounded perfect (other than being a boy, cause mom wanted a girl). Mom wanted a small dog, the one her friend has was very small but she was a 1 month old puppy too. So after mom went and looked at another puppy we found online, we went to see Yoda. The poor little thing is only about 1-1/2 lbs. He is soooooo tiny you can hold him in one hand. But oh my how cute he is. And mom decided he was the one for her. So we loaded up Yoda and headed home with him. I think you will agree, he is one realllyyyyyyyy handsome Little Man...........................

Peyton James finally arrived!!!

Well after a long stressful unpatient wait, little man Peyton finally decided he would join us in this world. Poor Holly, I know she was so ready to have him born and have him in her arms. Peyton was a healthy (big) 9lb 10oz beautiful baby boy. I have to say I am very late getting this posted as he was born Dec 30th 2008. Shame on me, I know, I should have had this posted the day he was born. We are all so very proud of him and his mommy and daddy. Aniston, his big sister (not so big, lol she will be 3 in March), already is having those jealous but proud sister moments. She had been a big help to her mommy with Peyton and I hope she will continue to be the protective sister that she is now.

Richmond Trip

Well I told you I had a surprise for you. I got to go to Richmond, VA and meet one of my very dear online friends Dizzy aka Cathi. Dizz and I have been online friends for over 5 yrs now and it was just awesome to get to meet her for real. She was just as I expected her to be. The wonderful friend she is.

We had a great time. My mom (Helen), my cousin (Billie) and I set out for VA on a very very cold day. Little did we know there would be an ice and snow storm in East Texas that morning, ha. We barely made it to the airport. It's a good thing we left extra early because we got to the airport, got our bags checked and walked right on the plane, whewwww that was too close for comfort. No time for the bathrooms either. YIKES!!!

Anyway, we went to stay with a long time friend of Billies and she was totally the best hostest and the sweetest person I have ever met. Mel and her husband Tony, were absolutely awesome to take us 4 women in 2 weeks before Christmas at that and made us feel perfectly at home. They pampered us the whole time we were there. I was so greatful that Billie had such a friend to invite us all to stay in her home instead of having to go to a lonely cold hotel room. Thank you Mel and Tony for you hospitality, the laughs and the fun. OH and lets not forget all the great food. HA, I think we ate and ate and ate and then ate some more just for the heck of it, but it was all good.

Well I have not been in here to post lately, but I did update my background. I love that there are so many talented people out there who are willing to share their beautiful creations. I just wish I knew how to make the blog backgrounds myself. Maybe some day. I am taking a HTML online class right now and maybe some day I can understand all that lingo and be able to figure out how to use it. HA, right now its just alot of garble to me. Altho this class is awesome, the way they explain it is great and easy to understand. I can't wait to finish it to see if I pass, lol. Wish me luck.

I am so excited but do not want to say too much because dont want to jinx it but I cannot wait until Dec. I plan to go see my online friend Dizzy for the first time meeting her in real life and I cannot wait. It will be great to see her face to face. Hopefully will have lots of pics and some stories to tell laters so check back to see what all we got ourselves into.

See ya laters, have a great one.

My Project

Well here is my project I have been working on for the last couple of months. I must say I am very proud of it all. Thru much blood, sweat and frustration, I finally got it done. I loveeee my new bed and bedroom set. It's been too long coming. I found it online and finally decided to get it because I could not stand that water bed any longer. I am too old to be climbing out of a water bed, hahaha.....but now, I have to climb up in this bed. I need a step stool. Its so tall...I had no idea it would be this high, lol. Anyway, I love it and it sleeps so good.

And of course here is Sissy, she thinks it is all hers. She loves it. She would not sleep in the water bed but before we could even get the sheets on this one, there she was. She was like ohhhhhh thanks mom for the new bed, I have lots of room now. Little stinker. LOL.

And now, the real project that caused most of the blood and sweat, ha. I totally overhauled my closet. I took all the old shelves and clothes rods and stuff out and I installed all the new shelving and rods and baskets. I got it all done and was so proud of it and decided to have a rest and got on my computer for a bit when all of a sudden what did I hear? A clash, clang, bang coming from my closet, haha, well yep, you guessed it. Half of it had fell down. I was so dissapointed. All that hard work for nothing. LOL. So then I had to figure out how to fix it so it would stay this time.

With much determination and more sweat and blood, ha, I got it fixed and yay, now I am so proud of it. I have more room and it looks so much nicer.

Well enough ramblings, but had to show off my stuff, hehehe.

Thanks for stopping by, till next time.

My Trip to Hawaii

OMG, it was awesome. I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful it was. My mom, my sister-in-laws mom, my aunt and her friend went on a Hawaiin cruise and I loved every minute of it. Altho I was not crazy about the food, yum yum yum the drinks were out of this world, haha. They were so tasty and fresh you could not help but drink a few. Nope, I did not get drunk, lol but not because I did not want more, I just knew my limit. :-). The drinks back home cannot compare to the flavor and taste. And the pineapples, yummmmy, I wanted to bring a truck load home with me. Those of you who live in Hawaii, oh I am so jealous of you.

I would love to go back but this time I would not want to travel with a group tour. We went with our local radio station and it was ok, but I would much rather do my own thing on my own time. I loved the ship, altho would prefer a diff cruise line, the ship was nice. I loved cruising. Thank goodness my mom got us a balcony room because it was awesome to sit on the balcony and watch the water and the scenery as we cruised by. I think I enjoyed that the most. I have never seen so many colors of blue in the ocean, truely breath-taking.
