ANNOUNCEMENT

A HEALTHY BABY GIRL
Sissy is my rescue dog. I found her at our deer camp and she looked pitiful. She was so dehydrated and hungry her poor little body was hardly able to walk. She was filthy and ate up with fleas and ticks. I could not stand to see her like that and to think she would stay out there and starve to death. I usually am not one to pick up strays but when she came over to me and looked at me with those big beautiful brown eyes, my heart melted. I did not get her that nite tho. I went back the next nite and she was still there so I brought her home.

She has had her vet visit and she is a healthy little girl. The vet says she thinks Sissy to be about 1 1/2 yrs. old and she did not have heart worms and everything else checked out good. I was so relieved she was ok and did not have any diseases.

Ken and I had the hardest time naming her. We thought of lots of names but nothing seemed to fit her. Then a couple days later our other lab, Maggie was inside and Sissy was outside and Ken told Maggie go get Sissy and that name has stuck. I call her my little redhead also. Ha, she has red eyebrows and it even looks like she has freckles (not that I am partial to red heads, since I am one).

She is a really sweet gentle lab and I am glad I have her. Altho when the puppy comes out in her, I think I have lost my mind. I think as she grows she will be an asset to our little family. It's just unbelievable to me how anyone could dump a little precious girl like her. Whoever did tho, oh well its their loss and my gain.

Welcome to the family little one. You are now a wanted and loved girl.
